Match Report

Oct 8 Hartlepool Captain Ken decided to wait until an hour before the start of the match to arrange the team! And so our FOUR man team had to make sure we won.
Nov 14 Hebburn Once again our esteemed captain 'organised' a four man team, and again three wins and a draw later the win was secured. Carter's game was the most interesting.
Nov 28 Darlington C 1 4 Yet again four man Peterlee scored 4/4 to secure the points. Just think how good we'll be with a full team! And here's a lesson on how not to play against the Kings Gambit. In fact its just how not to play chess!
Dec 11 Darlington Knights H 2 3 We finally had a full team but didn't need the 5th man as Darlo were a board short. A good win keeps us on course for top of the league.
Jan 10 Hetton Lyons B ½ Heavily out-graded Hetton B, were put to the sword in a one sided affair which keeps us on course for the leagues top spot.
Jan  22 Bishop Auckland B H 0 5 A very convincing win for the team. A result which puts us top of the table!
Jan 29 Hartlepool H 4 1 Our first defeat of the season against a weak Hartlepool team was very disappointing. Yours truly was 'at the match' and Armbruster was missing, but on paper it was a 'banker' Just a blip, (I hope!)
Feb 5 Pittington H Victory sees us edge nearer the summit. A good result as Pittington, as with most teams that we play had their full strength team out. Reddington's game was our best offering.
Feb 26 South Shields H 2 3 A very close match indeed, victory for Peterlee was only decided in the last 4 minutes of the last game!
Mar 4 Hebburn H 0 5 Another 'demolition job' our 2nd this season the quickest game of the night came with Mr Hunters first internet offering, and the 'Vitch' didn't hang around either. Great result, keeps us on course.
Mar 11 Durham City C H 3 2 Durham took a step nearer the title with a narrow victory, their greater strength in depth showed. Our solitary win came courtesy of yours truly. We still have them to play again next week, all is not lost!
Mar 19 Durham City C 4 1 A week or so on, and we haven't improved, but when you have the luxury of a 2150 Elo (180 ECF) on top board of the C team its hardly surprising! This win must seal the B Division title for Durham.
Apr 1 Darlington C H ½ A comfortable victory, yet an even game on paper. Quickest game of the night was this '16 mover!'
Apr 14 Darlington Knights 4 1 The Knights gain revenge in a comfortable win against a weakened Peterlee side. We should still get promoted as Durham C will stay in the B Division.
Apr 29 Hetton Lyons B H ½ A repeat score line from our previous meeting this season. As expected an easy win.
